Bali is better known for its Bintang singlet’s, dodgy nightlife and crazy scooter drivers, but every now and then people actually go there to score waves too.

My good mate Joe Clarke (see Joes Bali Clip ) made the call as it was looking like a nice long range swell heading to Indo. After a mess up with flights and passport issues for our Filmer Michael Jennings we all finally landed at Denpasar airport, the simple worn track to Bali being more difficult than usual.

By the time we landed, the extended trip and brought bad news, with the charts now not looking the best. We decided to head towards the usual fallback of The Goo to get the job done. The weather wasn’t the best but it managed to keep the crowds away.

After surfing some choppy Goo for a few days we rolled the dice and headed over the other side of the island with some other Aussies to chase some ramps. Huey didn’t disappoint and we got the best waves of the trip. Surfing with Joe is always great as we have had some rivalry in the past few years in the ABA tour but its always great to push each other free surfing.

Just like every other Bali trip its always good to keep it short and sharp. Till next, Bagus!

The desert of South Australia isn’t a new destination for our team.

For years we’ve been hunting slabs and beachies, exploring, being nomadic and dodging the great whites along the way……….

This however, is Michael Novys newest clip and possibly his best yet, cut by Movement TV and shot by Tyge Landa and Dave Fox giving us supreme quality and compelling editing, Novy tears into 4 days of pumping waves. He surfs with a confidence and conviction that is satisfying to watch. Novy was easily best on ground for this swell in South Australia… with other top riders there and even the likes of Dane Reynolds giving Novy kudos for his charging and ability to ride out of these insane barrels.

Nomad Bodyboards would like to congratulate Lachlan Cramsie for his great year on the ABA Tour, being crowned as the 2017 ABA Pro Men’s Champion.

2017 has been a fantastic year for Cramsie so far. A 2^nd place at the first event of the season, Mandurah Wedge, followed by a hat trick of 1^st Place wins at D’bah, Mystic’s and Knights Beach, has proven to be a dominant performance from the young man from the Sunshine Coast.

Cramsies ability to be able to surf small waves with technical prowess, through to his power and versatility when the waves turned on showed why Lachlan has been a solid competitor in 2017. His win now provides him withseeded position on the 2018 APB Tour with locations like Chopes, Arica and Fronton, we can’t wait to see what is to come from him in 2018.

The new Nomad Lachlan Cramsie model will be released in stores at the end of July.

Lachlan Cramsie has won his 3rd Aussie Tour Event in a row, this time winning the Knights Beach Pro in South Australia. After a close heat in Round 2 and then another close one against Simon Cassidy in the Quarter Finals, Cramsie was able to muscle his way through to his 3rd win of the season.

In fun conditions Cramsie went head-to-head with Liam Lucas in the final. But was able to continue his winning form.

Cramsie winning on his soon to be release 2017-18 Signature model.

With only one comp left remaining at Northern Beaches Pro Cramsie is unstoppable and will be crowned the Aussie Tour Champ at that event.

Well done Cramsie!!
